I love Silvrback
I just made the move to Silvrback, and I’m happy to say I think I’ve found a platform for this “Narrative Portfolio” I’ve been looking to create. Svbtle you are great, but you don’t really let me own my own writing. A second benefit is that I can now use Svbtle as the writing/blogging platform it was intended to be.
Silvrback lets you create a branded platform for your writing. This is something that I believe will become more and more relevant. I’m a big proponent of writing as a way of expressing how you think. Silvrback gives me a chance to share my thoughts on past work and affords me the opportunity to organize and curate. The “bio” page feature is a wonderful way to help readers see what you’re about. This will be the tool I use to create my “narrative portfolio”.
I’m so excited about what is happening right now online, there is an effort to push towards quality and depth of thought. Folks like Damian Sowers (Silvrback) and Nathan Kontny (Draft) are great examples of this.
While I am very happy to have found a service like Silvrback, I’m looking forward to sharing ideas on entrepreneurship, design and making here on Svbtle. There will probably even be a post on “wrenching” as I keep taking apart my Porsche 911 SC.
